Set up the customer portal and online booking

Let customers see their vehicles, invoices and history, and request appointments online.

Updated Oct 3, 2026

The customer portal is your shop's self-service site. Customers sign in to see their vehicles, service history and invoices, and to request an appointment. That means fewer phone calls asking for a copy of last year's invoice.

Turn on the portal

  1. Go to Customer Portal in the left menu. You need permission to manage settings.
  2. Turn on Customer portal enabled.
  3. Choose whether to show invoices & payments.
  4. Write a short welcome message. It's shown on the sign-in page and the dashboard.
  5. Click Save settings.

Invite customers

Invite customers one at a time from the portal page, or invite many at once. Each customer gets a secure link to set their password. They sign in with the email address on file. The portal page shows who's active, who's signed in recently and which invitations are still pending.

Tip: Copy the portal link and add it to your website, receipts and email signature.

Online appointment requests

When online booking is on, customers can request an appointment from the portal or from a booking button on your website.

  1. Go to Settings → Online booking to choose which locations take bookings, your available hours and any closures.
  2. Requests arrive on your Schedule as "Requested". You also get an email with approve and decline buttons.
  3. Confirm the time, or suggest another, and the customer is notified.

Online booking needs scheduling in your plan. If you don't see the option, contact support.
