Use the Job Board
See every vehicle in the shop at a glance and move work from check-in to pickup.
The Job Board is the home screen for most shops. Each repair order is a card, and each column is a step in your workflow, such as Checked in, Estimate, Waiting on approval, In progress, Waiting on parts and Ready for pickup.
Move work forward
- Drag a card to the next column to change its status. On a phone, open the card and pick the new status.
- Click a card to open the side panel. There you see the customer's concern, the estimate, the inspection, the technician, the promise time and the full timeline, without leaving the board.
- From the side panel you can assign a technician, set a promise time, add a label or note, attach a file, text the customer or request approval.
Find what you need
- Switch between the Kanban board and the List view at the top.
- Filter by location, technician, advisor or label, then save the filter so you can use it again in one click.
- Cards that are past their promise time are highlighted, so late cars stand out.
- Waiter cards are customers waiting in the lobby. Give them priority.
Customize your workflow
Owners and managers can change the columns under Settings → Workflow:
- Add, rename, recolor and reorder statuses.
- Create labels such as "Comeback", "Fleet" or "Needs parts".
- Choose which statuses show on the board under Settings → Job Board.
Tip: Keep the board to 6–8 columns. More than that gets hard to read on a TV in the shop.
The board refreshes on its own, so it stays current on the shop TV and on everyone's screen.
