Use AutoSync on your phone
Install the AutoSync app so advisors and technicians can work from the shop floor.
AutoSync works on any phone or tablet. Install the app and your team gets a phone-sized layout, push notifications and quick access to the camera for inspection photos.
Install the app
- On your phone, open the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android) and search for AutoSync.
- Install it and sign in with the same email and password you use on the computer.
- Allow notifications when the app asks. That's how you hear about new messages, approvals and assignments.
No app store handy? Open your shop's AutoSync address in your phone's browser, sign in, then use Share → Add to Home Screen (iPhone) or ⋮ → Install app (Android).
What you can do from your phone
- Job Board: see every car and move it to the next status.
- My Work: technicians see their assigned jobs, clock time and add notes.
- Inspections: tap through the checklist and take photos and videos right from the camera.
- Messages: text customers back and forth.
- Payments: take a payment or send a payment link.
Notifications
Choose what you're notified about under My account & security → Notifications. These settings are yours alone and don't change anyone else's. My account also lists the phones you're signed in on.
Tip: Signing out of the app stops notifications on that phone. If a phone is lost, an owner can sign that person out of all devices from Settings → Team.
